Joshua Erickson, LAC
Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona
I began my journey in the mental health field from a lifelong curiosity about people and a genuine passion for helping others. Over the past five years, I have supported individuals and families from many different backgrounds and confirmed that my passion and strengths align with being a therapist.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, authenticity, and respect. My goal is to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to make meaningful change. I recognize that therapy can be both challenging and deeply rewarding. It is a space for comfort, growth, and personal discovery.
My approach draws from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and attachment-based principles. I use these evidence-based approaches to help clients understand their emotions, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build stronger relationships with themselves and others. Together, we explore strategies and insights that support lasting change and emotional balance.
In therapy, my goal is to help you gain clarity, confidence, and connection in the areas that matter most to you. We work together to uncover what is getting in the way and develop strategies that help you feel grounded and supported. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be real, learn more about yourself, and create the change you are ready for. My hope is that our work helps you feel more connected to yourself, to others, and to the life you are building.
